GLIND Sand Spear (1.6M) with Jetting Tube

The 100% Aussie made GLIND Jet Sand Spear has the following features:

Overall length of 1.6mtrs Tube Diameter: 50mm Mesh Screen effective length: 260mm for water draw through the wire mesh filter. Mesh details: 0.1mm/100 micron aperture Manufactured locally in Brisbane from 1mm helically wound wire mesh and are full 316 Marine grade Stainless Steel.

This means you can pump up to 17 l/min from it.

Simply dig away the dry powdery sand, and pump water down via the jetting tube into the GLIND Jet Sand Spear and wiggle it as it is self burying into the beach, then once you are in the fresh water table, change from the jetting tube to the delivery tube and you’re done.

The jetted water runs down its own separate tube to push sand away and allows simple burying.

Matches perfectly with the GLIND Cape Yorker or GLIND Original hot shower system as the pump provided on these units will allow for jetting and delivery. Ideally pump volume of 11l/min and 50psi is required to facilitate the sand jetting process – check out the 101-FJR3526144D which is the perfect match for this (which comes in both Cape Yorker kits and the Original kit system).

Our latest version comes complete with 1 way check valves on the inlet and outlet side to eliminate incorrect connection which will cause the pump to suck sand and destroy your pump.  The check valves have 1/2″ BSP Female threads on the jetting tube and delivery line, so you can customise your connection in and out as you like.
