Built Not Bought is a one stop entertainment YouTube channel who live by the term EDU-TAINMENT. A satisfying cross between education and entertainment. Mainly focusing on DIY projects and content topical to the off-road and 4x4 industry. They have become one of the fastest growing brands in this next generation of Aussie 4x4 entertainment.

It all started with a 2-month trip from Perth to Cape York in 2016. A trip which was filmed with the intention of only showing friends and family back home. Before he knew it, Sam’s video series had spread far and wide across social media. It was here the idea came into his head.

Sam Eyles is the self-proclaimed “Aussies best bush mechanic” with all technique thrown out the window and an overdose of enthusiasm, he has built one of Australia’s toughest 4x4’s on a DIY budget. As if this wasn’t time consuming enough, he filmed the whole build from start to finish in a mammoth 22 Episode series which has now enabled him to quite the day job and do this full-time.

Sam made a permanent move from Perth to Sunshine Coast to take Built Not Bought to the next level. 2022 is set to be one of the biggest years to come!
