Sam Eyles is the self-proclaimed “Aussies best bush mechanic” with all technique thrown out the window and an overdose of enthusiasm, he has built one of Australia’s toughest 4x4’s on a DIY budget.

Built Not Bought is a multi-disciplined automotive and outdoor entertainment outlet.

We live by the term “EDU-TAINMENT” a cross between education and entertainment. A one-stop-shop for all DIYers to learn, engage and be inspired by our brand.

We pride ourselves in being able to produce content to the highest standard whilst remaining relevant and relatable to our audience.

Being built around the 4x4/outdoor industry we find ourselves very integrated in the off-road community but also have a huge reach into all other areas of the automotive industry.

Sam Young is a Sydney-based digital content creator with a passion for everything automotive!

He's been a video presenter and social media specialist for the past five years and has immersed himself in a variety of automotive niches including four-wheel drives, race cars, motorcycles, street cars and everything in between.

He has become one of the most influential four-wheel driving personalities in Australia, with over 115,000 engaged followers on Instagram, over 54,000 subscribers on YouTube and more than 86,000 followers on TikTok.

4wding has been a part of MadMatt's world since childhood. As a professional Four Wheel Driver MadMatt is all about  educating and entertaining people around 4wding, camping and other related subjects.  At MadMatt 4wd there is everything from 4wd tips and tricks to fixing your four wheel drive.

One of the highlights of his time as MadMatt has been overseeing the 4wding in the feature movie Rough Stuff. This involved everything from designing the stunts and driving them to rolling 4wds and hanging them off cliffs.

Dave "Dingo" Darmody is the Founder, Director and Principal Instructor at The Australian Offroad Academy (AORA) – one of Australia’s leading 4x4 offroad and touring educators delivering outstanding training and tours for recreational, corporate and government clients all over Australia. 

Dingo Dave has over 20 years of educational experience, and is a qualified Outdoor and Environmental Education Teacher. He has used this experience to deliver outstanding, entertaining and exceptional quality 4x4 education in numerous locations all over Australia, as well as taking clients on boutique tours to some of Australia's most remote and stunning locations.

You'll catch him daily hosting the Tracks N Trips stage in the 4WD QLD Adventure Zone on the Main Oval.

Girls Day Out

Cassie is the founder of Girls Day Out 4wd Edition. She wanted to start GDO to help females that want to get outdoors and she's sure she's not the only women who can say she has had some horrible experiences when it comes to the 4wd industry. 

She wants to create a safe space for all females no matter what their background is. Girls Day Out isn't a 4wd group but it is a community and a safe space. They have a wide range of supporting groups to help you learn new and update old skills.
