Richard is passionate about designing, building, and upgrading four wheel drives and bikes that push the boundaries of creativity and engineering. He has a Masters In Mechanical engineering but loves to get hands on, constantly finding himself on the tools making and breaking things. During lockdown, Richard started restoring an FJ45 Landcruiser. The vehicle has a 1973 FJ45 cab mounted onto a 1994 80 series chassis powered by a Barra Turbo (Ford XR6 motor). Using my engineering experience, the design became bespoke to my needs, from the engine conversion, to the interior, to the camping setup in the canopy. I am passionate about innovating & creating and am currently working on a number of projects in the Automotive space like bike racks, motorbike racks and 4x4 builds!
