4x4 Explore Abercrombie River
If you have none to some 4WD experience, are new to towing off road, want to refresh old skills, or have an L or P Plater or co-driver who would like to upskill, this tour is for you. Abercrombie River National Park offers 19,000 hectares of 4WD fun. There are short but steep ascents and descents, rocky creek crossings, spectacular scenery and a large variety of wildlife including native birds, wallabies, kangaroos and emus.

Duration: 3 days, 2 nights

Drivers: This tour is suitable for drivers with none to some 4WD experience, and/or those who are new to towing off road. Beginners and intermediate drivers can learn, practice and hone their technical skills on a variety of challenges.

Vehicles: Vehicles require standard clearance (although may scrape in some sections), dual range and all-terrain tyres

Camping: All 4x4 Explore tours are suitable for tents, swags, etc. This tour is also suitable for single axle off-road trailers, camper trailers and caravans. Towed items must be built for off-road towing, have suitable clearance and all-terrain tyres.
