Learn how to use fishing’s most versatile lures to effectively work the entire water column, interpret your underwater hunting ground, and match jig heads, tail types and their specific retrieves to fool more fish — regardless of where you cast a line. In her session, Jo will break down the keys to mastering soft plastics fishing — whether you’re exploring a quiet estuary, casting into the surf, drifting over an offshore reef, or tackling freshwater challenges.

Hard bodied lures — from metal vibes and spinners to timber and plastic minnows and plugs — can be used to fish the entire water column: from the surface to the bottom. Starlo shows exactly how to choose the best lure for the task at hand, and how to manipulate it effectively to catch more fish. He will lift the lid on the many subtle nuances of lure fishing — with both soft plastics and hard bodies — and detail his personal tricks and tips gathered from a lifetime of on-water experience — tips that can spell the difference between success and failure.
