Ticketing Changes

To keep you COVID safe during your visit we have made some changes to how we are selling tickets. To comply with social distancing regulations we have put limits on the number of people entering at any one time.

With entry numbers capped per hour, if you find the weekend times you want are sold out we encourage you to visit in the afternoons, or Friday.

Also, all tickets must be pre-purchased online and registered to the person attending the event, to comply with Queensland Health contact tracing requirements.

What’s changed?

  • You will need to select a time you want to attend from when booking e.g. Friday at 10am. You can enter anytime from that time, and stay as long as you want, you just cannot enter before your selected time.
  • Ticket numbers are limited per hour. Once sold out the system will show other times that are available, until sold out
  • All tickets must be purchased online prior to the event. Tickets will not be sold at the gate to comply with Queensland Health Contact Tracing and Social Distancing requirements
  • Each person needs to be individually registered for contact tracing requirements, including all children and infants attending.

Our time slots act as allocated entry times. E.g if you have purchased a ticket for 10am, you are able to enter the show any time from 10am. There are no restrictions on the amount of time you are allowed to spend at the Show. The allocated entry times are designed to manage crowds at busy peaks and  to allow for social distancing;

To comply with Queensland Health requirements and allow social distancing to take place, we are doing this to manage the crowds at peak times. By having allocated time slots we can allow the maximum amount of visitors to enjoy the show.

All of our celebrities, education  and entertainment is running throughout the day, so you wont miss anything by turning up a bit later than usual. You can even make an evening of it. Grab  a drink at the venue or an early dinner in the surrounding neighbourhood!

All tickets will need to pre purchased online and registered to the person attending for contact tracing requirements, you will need to contact our ticketing seller LUP on 1300 884 226 or email tickets@lup.com.au. Tickets can only be exchanged for the same date and time. An administration fee may apply.

You can if there are tickets available for that time slot.  The website will show if they are available. 

Yes, you will need to register each person with their contact details, to comply with Queensland Health Contact Tracing requirements.

You may be able to change the day and time of your ticket, if the slots are available. You will need to contact Lup via 1300 884 226 or email tickets@lup.com.au with your order number.

Please note an admin fee may occur.   

Yes. In this instance we will refund the full ticket price, less the service fee that was paid. Please allow 4-6 weeks for the refund to be processed.

Yes, all requests for refunds must be emailed to the online ticket seller found on the event website, by 12pm on the last day of the show – Sunday 21st March 2021.

No. All tickets must be purchased online prior to the event. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the gate to comply with Queensland Health Contact Tracing requirements.

 

We need to carefully manage the visitor capacity to allow social distancing to occur. If we allowed onsite tickets we could not do this effectively, or guarantee that those attending could gain entry at that time.    

  

 Yes,we offer a free companion ticket alongside the purchase of a general admission ticket. We kindly ask that the companion card is brought along to the event and both visitors will need to be registered to comply with contact tracing regulations.

No but they will need to register as well to comply with contact tracing regulations.

If it is not there please contact our ticketing company, LUP on 1300 884 226 or email tickets@lup.com.au and they can send you through another copy.

Yes, you can re-enter the Show during the same day. Just make sure you receive a pass-out stamp upon exiting.

Children under 16 years old are free to attend, but each child must be registered to attend to comply with contract tracing regulations. Children 16 and over must have a paid ticket to attend.

Brisbane Showgrounds

The Brisbane Showgrounds is now home to Brisbane's newest convention centre which has fast gained a reputation for offering a personalised, boutique event experience. Located on the fringe of the Brisbane CBD, the Brisbane Showgrounds offer versatility, flexibility and support from our team of dedicated and experienced professionals

 

Our number one priority now and in the future will remain the same; the health and safety of those attending our Shows, our team and the broader community, especially those most vulnerable. We continue to monitor the ongoing advice closely. We wish to assure you that we will adhere to all.

Brisbane Showgrounds Parking

Parking within the Brisbane Showgrounds is limited so it is important to plan your trip well ahead of time.  There are a total of 1500 car parks located onsite at the Brisbane Showgrounds or in the adjacent King Street.

IMPORTANT: For up-to-date vacancies and traffic control, please take note of the information published on the large variable message screens located around the perimeter of the venue.  Entrances to each car park will be marked.

Disabled Parking: The RNA will provide disabled parking sections in each car park area with signage, the disabled parking areas will be as close as possible to the entrance of the show.

 The RNA will provide generic parking signage at the entrance to each car park.

Payment

RNA on site car parks will all be pay on exit charged at $15 per day. The Pavilion car park operates with a number plate recognition system, please pay at machines before returning to your car. 
$25 per day for buses/trucks or vehicles with a trailer (use Sideshow Alley)

Getting Public Transport to the show

We are pleased to announce your ticket includes free train and bus  travel  across the Queensland Rail City Network. 

Nearest Train Stations:

  • Bowen Hills Station – 11 minute walk
  • Fortitude Valley Station – 12 minute walk
  • Please note trains are not operating to Exhibition Station

Nearest Bus Stations

  • Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Station – 9 minute walk

All you need do is pre-purchase your National 4x4 Outdoors Show event tickets online BEFORE you leave the house and show it to train inspectors at the stations. It doesn’t matter what line or direction, it’s all FREE. Leave your car at home and enjoy the day without traffic hassles.

The venue is accessible by wheelchair, but sadly the venue does not allow you to hire these. There are designated car parking spaces located on the ground level of each car park.

Unfortunately as much as we would love to see your dogs at the Show we can only allow assistance dogs.
