Brisbane Showgrounds (EKKA) is located in a world-class events and lifestyle precinct. It is Brisbane's largest, most well known and versatile venue, offering unique and flexible indoor and outdoor spaces purpose designed to host a variety of events and activities including trade shows, exhibitions, expos, festivals and much, much more. Located only 1.5kms from Brisbane CBD and 15 minutes from Brisbane Airport the “EKKA” as it is colloquial known is also close to major arterials and all this make it easily accessible for exhibitors, staff and attendees. The venue has hosted the National 4x4 Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo for several years and has proven to be only space that is fit for purpose. It has a demonstrated ability to attract large crowds, offers footprint flexibility and is well serviced by public transport, including buses and trains.
The Brisbane Showgrounds is located just 1.5km from the city’s CBD in Bowen Hills and 15 minutes from Brisbane Airport. Brisbane Showgrounds is easily accessible by public transport or car. It’s bordered by Bowen Bridge Road, O'Connell Terrace, Brookes Street and St Paul's Terrace and is home to the state-of-the-art Royal International Convention Centre (Royal ICC), a four and a half star Rydges Hotel and vibrant King Street dining hub.

Brisbane Showgrounds has its own train station and depending on availability trains run directly to the Showgrounds during events. This central location with easy access from all parts of Brisbane and regional South East Queensland means you get more visitors.
We know that as 4x4 enthusiasts you like to drive your car. In 2019, a new car park will available for use at this event. No other indoor/outdoor venue in Brisbane city can compete with the showgrounds on parking. There are several separate car parking areas within the Brisbane Showgrounds and in excess of 2000 car parking spaces will be available. With 150 parking spaces dedicated to exhibitors.
