The Show will operate in compliance with a COVID Safe Event Plan. To keep you safe during your visit we have made some changes to how we are selling tickets:

  • All tickets must be purchased online before the event 
  • You will need to select a time slot for your ticket booking
  • The number of tickets sold per time slot will be limited, so we recommend booking early to avoid missing out on your desired time
  • Each person needs to be individually registered for contact tracing requirements

When is the Show taking place? 

The National 4x4 Outdoors Show will return to the Melbourne Showgrounds from 26-28 November 2021.

Fri & Sat 8:30am - 6:00pm

Sun 8:30am - 5:00pm

Where is the Show held?

Melbourne Showgrounds
Epsom Rd, Ascot Vale VIC 3032

Melbourne Showgrounds is Melbourne's largest and most versatile venue, offering unique and flexible indoor and outdoor spaces designed to host a variety of events and activities including trade shows, exhibitions, expos, festivals and much, much more. 

How do I get to the Show? (Public transport, access and parking)

The Showgrounds are conveniently located just north of the Melbourne CBD in the inner suburb of Ascot Vale and offer ample parking with public transport close by. More information can be found here.

TRAM

Tram Route 57 tram (West Maribyrnong to Elizabeth Street, City) Stops at stop 32 (Showgrounds Village Shopping Centre on Epsom Road)

TRAINS - Please see below for information on trains:

Friday 
No trains. We suggest you catch a train to Newmarket Station (on Craigieburn line) and change to catch a tram to the Showgrounds.
4 additional trams on Route 57 from 9am to 7pm

Saturday 
Train service from Flinders Street Station, stopping at Southern Cross station and Nth Melbourne then express to Melbourne Showground Station. 30 minutes frequency from 8:30 until 18:30.
4 additional trams on Route 57 from 9am to 7pm

Sunday 
Train service from Flinders Street station, stopping at Southern Cross and Nth Melbourne then express to Melbourne Showground Station. 30 minutes frequency starting 8:30am until 17:30.
4 additional trams on Route 57 from 9am to 7pm

There will also be a free shuttle bus from Flemington Racecourse car park to the Melbourne Showgrounds

PARKING 

There is limited parking at the Melbourne showgrounds. You will find more parking at the Flemington Racecourse and use the free shuttle bus to get from Flemington Racecourse to the Melbourne Showgrounds.

Parking Cost = $20 /per day

Can I bring dogs to the Show?

Unfortunately as much as we would love to see your dogs, no dogs are permitted at the Show.

This does not apply to assistance dogs, assistance dogs are permitted.

Covid-19

What measures are being taken to reduce the spread of Covid-19?

The National 4x4 Outdoors Show will operate in compliance with a COVID Safe Event Plan which has been approved by the Chief Health Officer at the Victorian Department of Health.

Our number one priority is to keep you safe during the Show, and that means things will run a little differently to previous events. In order for everyone to have a successful event, you will need to abide by these rules as they are designed to keep you safe.

Will I get a refund if the event is cancelled due to COVID?

Yes, if the Show is cancelled due to Covid, we will refund the full ticket price, less the service fee that was paid. Please allow 4-6 weeks for the refund to be processed.    

What if I feel sick on the day I am attending the Show?

Please stay home and contact us at admin@4x4show.com.au before 12 noon on 28 Nov 2021 and if you do not attend the Show we will refund the purchase price less an administration fee.

Ticketing

When are tickets going on sale?

Tickets will be going on sale in October. To be the first to know when tickets go on sale, subscribe to our newsletter.  

Please note that, as the Show is following a Covid-safe plan, there will be a limit to the tickets sold for each time slot, so we recommend that you book in your time slot early to avoid disappointment. 

Can I buy a ticket at the gate?

No. All tickets must be purchased online prior to the event. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the gate to comply with Victoria Health Contact Tracing requirements.   

What are the prices of the tickets?

Ticket types:

General Admission: $20
Pensioner: $17
Child: Free 

Important update regarding capacity limits:

Please note that, as the Show is following a Covid-safe plan, there will be a limit to the number of each type of ticket available per time slot. 

We recommend that you book in your time slot early to avoid disappointment. Tickets will go on sale on October, and we recommend subscribing to our newsletter to be the first to know when tickets go on sale. 

Who do I contact if I have not received, or need assistance with my ticket?

Firstly, please check your junk email box as the email may have been sent there.

If it is not there please contact our ticketing company, LUP on 1300 884 226 or email tickets@lup.com.au and they can send you through another copy.

Are Child tickets free?  

Limited free Child tickets will be available for children under 16 years old, but each child over 12 months of age must be registered to attend to comply with contract tracing regulations. Children 16 and over must have a paid General Admission ticket to attend. 

If the free Child tickets sell out for your desired session, you may choose to book a Child ticket to a session where there are some free tickets are still available, or alternatively, you may buy a General Admission ticket to your desired session. 

Can I buy tickets for multiple people?

Yes, you can buy tickets for up to 10 people per transaction. You will need tickets for adults as well as any children 12 months of age or over. You will need to register each person over 12 months or over with their contact details, to comply with Victoria Health Contact Tracing requirements.

How do the allocated time slots work?

Our time slots act as allocated entry times. E.g if you have purchased a ticket for 10:30am, you are able to enter the show any time from 10:30am. There are no restrictions on the amount of time you are allowed to spend at the Show. The allocated entry times are designed to manage crowds at busy peaks and  to allow for social distancing.

My friends have booked in for a specific time, and I want to attend with them. Can I book in the same time slot? 

You can if there are tickets available for that time slot.  The website will show if they are available. 

Can I change the time slot that I am booked to attend?

Yes, if there are tickets available for the time slot you wish to change to.  To do this you will need to contact our ticketing seller LUP on 1300 884 226 or email  tickets@lup.com.au 

I want to swap my ticket with another person. Can I do that and how do I do it? 

All tickets will need to pre purchased online and registered to the person attending for contact tracing requirements, you will need to contact our ticketing seller LUP on 1300 884 226 or email tickets@lup.com.au. Tickets can only be exchanged for the same date and time. An administration fee may apply.
