NATIONAL 4X4 OUTDOORS SHOW, FISHING & BOATING EXPO ARRIVES IN MELBOURNE THIS WEEKEND
Fishing, 4x4 and camping enthusiasts will be in their element when the National 4x4 Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo returns to the Melbourne Showgrounds from this Friday 18th August until Sunday 20th August.
The action-packed event for anyone interested in fishing, boating, 4WDing, camping and outback leisure will feature tens-of-thousands of the latest and greatest wares from hundreds of leading exhibitors and retailers.
With over 30,000 square metres dedicated to everything outdoors, the National 4x4 Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo will be a one-stop shop for all recreational interests under the one roof.
Those looking for a great bargain at the Show will be in luck, with over 200 exhibitors in one place fighting for the attention of Show visitors. The Bargain Hunters Guide, available online at www.4x4show.com.au/melbourne, is a great place to start, listing all of the deals exclusive to the event.
There will also be plenty of activities for the entire family, including the new Base Camp feature simulating a real camping experience complete with a campfire, bush tucker by the Campfire Cooking Stage (hosted by AFL legend Spida Everitt), fly fishing lessons by Yarra Valley Fly Fishing, Australian wildlife and a bush musician.
Also providing plenty of action will be the ever-popular Action Arena, returning to the event again in 2017. Visitors will watch from the edge of their seat as BMX, freestyle motocross (FMX) and quad bike riders perform outrageous stunts and tricks throughout the three Show days.
For those who would like to put their 4WD skills to the test, the purpose-built Amarok V6 4x4 Proving Ground will feature a variety of surfaces to simulate being off the beaten track, including a sand trap, water crossing, compact rock segment and a steep incline.
On stage, don’t miss out on learning some new fishing and outback tips from the experts. The Tackle World Fishing Stage will host professional anglers Paul Worsteling and Steve ‘Starlo’ Starling, while the Waeco CFX Outback Stage will showcase cricketing champion Merv Hughes, alongside outback gurus Rick O’Brien, John ‘Roothy’ Rooth, Shaun Whale & Graham Cahill and Jase Andrews.
Of course, if that isn’t enough for the little ones, they will be kept busy with the always exciting Kids Terrain.
The National 4x4 Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo will provide plenty of opportunities to win fantastic prizes across the weekend, including the hotly contested ‘Scan To Win Promotion’.
