Melbourne Showgrounds
Epsom Road, Ascot Vale VIC 3032
Melbourne Showgrounds is Victoria's largest and most versatile venue, located just 7km from Melbourne’s CBD and 15 minutes from the airport, Melbourne Showgrounds is easy to reach by public transport or car.
The Showgrounds are conveniently located just north of the Melbourne CBD in the inner suburb of Ascot Vale and offer ample parking with public transport close by. More information on getting to The Melbourne Showgrounds can be found here.
VISITOR PARKING
Open from 8am, visitor parking is available at Flemington Racecourse.
There are 3 entries:
Epsom Road
Smithfield Road
Langs Road (Limited parking)
FREE Shuttle Buses run between parking and the Showgrounds, or its a 5-minute walk.
Cost: $30 per day. Payment taken on entry, have your card ready.
ACCESSIBLE PARKING
Located at Melbourne Showgrounds through Gate 5 on Langs Road.
Strictly accessibility parking, no general visitor parking will be admitted.
Cost: $25 per day.
TRAIN
Melbourne Showgrounds has a dedicated train station. Stay tuned for more information on what days and times the train will be running.

TRAM
Take the Route 57 tram (Elizabeth Street City, to West Maribyrnong) stops at Melbourne Showgrounds (stop 33) on Epsom Road, across the road from Gate 1 of Melbourne Showgrounds. Please listen to onboard announcements or check with your tram driver.
BUS
There are two bus routes that can get you to Melbourne Showgrounds:
1. Route 404 (Footscray to Moonee Ponds) stops on the corner of Epsom and Ascot Vale Roads.
2. Route 472 (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds) stops along Langs Road and Epsom Road.

Unfortunately as much as we would love to see your dogs, no dogs other than assistance dogs are permitted at the Show. This does not apply to assistance dogs -

Yes there is, there will be a Parcel Pick Up storage tent located on site that will be free for visitors to use.
Storing your goods at Parcel Pick Up is free! You’ll have the option to pick up your goods on the way out or drive around to the collection point and pop your items straight in the car. Click here for more information on Parcel Pick Up.
All food vendors at the event, as well as ticket sales at the gate, will be operating on a cashless basis. We encourage attendees to plan accordingly and ensure they have access to card or digital payment options.
For exhibitors selling products at the show, the choice to accept cash payments is at their own discretion.
Ticketing
Tickets will be on sale from Thursday 28th May 2026. You can purchase tickets here.
If you’d like to attend on a different day than the one on your ticket, just arrive on the day you prefer.
As long as your ticket hasn’t been checked in yet, we’ll be able to admit you.
Yes. However please note, no cash sales will be accepted at the gate.
We recommend pre-purchasing your ticket online here to avoid queues.
Free Child tickets are available for children under 16 years old, but each child over 12 months of age must be registered. Anyone that is aged below 14 years must have an adult with them to attend the show.
For Companion Card Holders, no ticket is required.
We kindly ask that your companion card is brought along to the event and presented upon entry when accompanying the visitor.
Yes, only the ticket purchaser will need to enter their details when checking out online. Once you purchase the tickets you can allocate these to anyone you like.
We have a discount for tickets bought in groups of 10 for the same day. Make sure you select the ‘Group Tickets’ drop down when purchasing your tickets to receive this discount.
No refunds or exchanges will be made for any ticket sales except as required by Consumer Laws. You can view the full terms and conditions

Merchandise
Yes, you can buy merchandise at the show, though they will be full priced, with no discount. So we encourage you to pre-order with your ticket.
We will have a designated merchandise stand at the show. Location to be confirmed. Have your QR code on your merchandise ticket ready for pick up.
