When is the Melbourne show?

The National 4x4 Outdoors Show will return to the Melbourne Showgrounds from 22 - 24 August 2024.

Where is the show located?

Melbourne Showgrounds

Melbourne Showgrounds is Melbourne's largest and most versatile venue, offering unique and flexible indoor and outdoor spaces designed to host a variety of events and activities including trade shows, exhibitions, expos, festivals and much, much more. 

Parking

VISITOR PARKING
Visitor parking is at Flemington Racecourse, located right next to Melbourne Showgrounds. There is a free shuttle bus to get you to and from the showgrounds or it’s a short 5-minute walk. Parking is located down Flemington Drive, off Epsom Road - Look out for the signs.
Cost: $25 per day. Parking payment is to be made on entry. Make sure you have your card ready for a speedy parking experience.
Please note: There is NO GENERAL VISITOR PARKING at the Melbourne Showgrounds. Parking spaces are limited, and we recommend using public transport if possible. 

ACCESSIBLE PARKING
Accessible parking can be found at the Melbourne Showgrounds and is accessed through Gate 5 on Langs Road.
Please note – no general visitor parking will be admitted. This is only for people with accessibility needs.     
Cost: $20 per day.  

Public Transport

The Showgrounds are conveniently located just north of the Melbourne CBD in the inner suburb of Ascot Vale and offer ample parking with public transport close by. More information on getting to The Melbourne Showgrounds can be found here

TRAIN
Melbourne Showgrounds has a dedicated train station that will be running all day Saturday and Sunday (not Friday). To plan your trip and get the latest travel information visit Public Transport Victoria (PTV) and plan your journey using the Journey Planner.

TRAM
Take the Route 57 tram (West Maribyrnong to Elizabeth Street, City) and get off at stop 32 (Showgrounds Village Shopping Centre on Epsom Road). Please listen to onboard announcements or check with your tram driver.

BUS
There are two bus routes that can get you to Melbourne Showgrounds:
1. Route 404 (Footscray to Moonee Ponds) stops on the corner of Epsom and Ascot Vale Roads.
2. Route 472 (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds) stops along Langs Road and Epsom Road.

Accessibility at Melbourne Showgrounds

Melbourne Showgrounds is a fully accessible venue providing inclusive access for people with disabilities. You can find more info on accessibility at the Showgrounds here.

Can I bring dogs to the Show?

Unfortunately as much as we would love to see your dogs, no dogs are permitted at the Show.

This does not apply to assistance dogs. Guide / Assistance dogs are permitted.

Is there somewhere I can store heavy, bulky items I've purchased at the show?

Yes! We will be operating a free Parcel Pick-Up service, which is a dedicated place to store your heavy, bulky items that you've purchased and continue enjoying your day at the show.

Storing your goods at Parcel Pick Up is free! You’ll have the option to pick up your goods on the way out or drive around to the collection point and pop your items straight in the car. Click below for more information:

How do I resolve ticketing issues?

Do you offer refunds?

Cancellations, Variations Transfers and Refunds

Before finalising your Ticket purchase you should review the dates and location of the Event or component or activity of the Event and ensure they suit your personal circumstances. Subject to any statutory rights you may have to cancel and receive a refund (including your rights under Consumer Laws) there is no general right to cancel and receive a refund, if the Event or other activity of the Event takes place.

No refunds or exchanges will be made for any online Ticket sales except as required by the Consumer Laws.

Tickets purchased maybe transferred for that time to another person by contacting the Ticket seller and maybe subject to an administration fee. No changes can be made to Ticket times booked.

We may cancel the Event or a component or activity of the Event due to unforeseen reasons. In such case, the Event or a component or activity of the Event may be rescheduled. If the Event or a component or activity of the Event to which the Ticket relates is cancelled, you have a right to obtain a refund of a legitimately purchased Ticket but may need to apply for a refund or otherwise follow our reasonable refund process. We may charge a reasonable fee in the event of a refund.

We may also postpone or change the Event dates or duration or the hours during which the Event is open or change the Venue or location. We may also cancel, withdraw, postpone or re-schedule or otherwise vary any components or activities, including displays, keynote speakers, session presenters, timetables or programs or any other aspect of the Event for unforeseen reasons. We do not represent that there will be space for you to observe any particular displays or activities at the Event.

Subject to your rights under this clause or unless required by law, we do not accept any liability for Loss or inconvenience caused by such cancellations or changes.

Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium and or through auction or similar websites or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (such as trade promotions or to enhance the demand of or for other goods or services) without our consent. Tickets that are sold or otherwise dealt with in breach of this condition may be cancelled without a refund and the person may be refused admission.

Can I buy a ticket at the gate?

No cash sales will be accepted at the gate.

We recommend pre-purchasing your ticket to avoid queues.

Are Child tickets free?  

Free Child tickets will be available for children under 16 years old, but each child over 12 months of age must be registered to attend. Children 16 and over must have a paid General Admission ticket to attend. 

Do you offer a free ticket for companion card holders?

Yes, we offer a free companion ticket alongside the purchase of a general admission ticket. We kindly ask that the companion card is brought along to the event.

Can I buy tickets for multiple people?

Yes, you can buy tickets for up to 10 people per transaction. You will need tickets for adults as well as any children 12 months of age or over.
