What's on at the Show?

We've got an absolutely jam-packed line-up for 2024, there's so much to see and do.

How do I get to the Show with Public Transport?

LOCATION

Sydney Showground is conveniently located in the geographic heart of Sydney at Sydney Olympic Park.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Conveniently serviced by bus, train and ferry services, the site was purpose built for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and has been designed to cope effortlessly with high volumes of visitors.

TRAIN 

Olympic Park train station is on Sydney Showground's doorstep. The Sprint service, operated by CityRail, travels between Lidcombe and Olympic Park Stations daily, every 10 minutes.

A limited number of direct services also operate between Central Station and Olympic Park Station in the afternoon on weekdays and for some major events.

BUS

Sydney Buses operate direct bus services to Sydney Olympic Park from a number of locations including Lidcombe, Strathfield and Parramatta.

FERRY

Sydney Ferries run a daily service between Circular Quay and Parramatta stopping at Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf. To travel to Sydney Showground, visitors must also catch a connecting bus.

Parking

There are an array of easily accessible public transport options to Sydney Olympic Park but it's just as easy to drive to the venue.
With the new M4 tunnel between Sydney Olympic Park/ Homebush to Haberfield now open, up to 20 minutes can be slashed off a trip from the Sydney CBD to Sydney Olympic Park. From bypassing 22 sets of traffic lights, getting to Olympic Park has never been easier!

Sydney Olympic Park has over 10,000 parking spaces site-wide. Carparks P1, P5 and P6 are in close proximity to Sydney Showground. Costs: $6 per hour, up to a maximum fee of $30 per day.

We recommend you pre-book parking. The cost is $30 per car for the day. This cost is for one entry and exit into your selected car park.

P5 and P8 is open air parking, which is perfect for anyone wanting to drive their 4x4 to the show. 

*Please keep in mind our free shuttle busses will be leaving from CarPark 5, and stopping at the outside of Show Entry on Grand Parade. The shuttle busses will be looping approximately every 5 minutes. 

Carpark 5 location: Corner Hill Road and Holker Street, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127. Entry via Hill Rd. Exit to Hill Rd. Access Via Loop Road.

Where will the information desk be located?

The information desk will be located in the Dome Foyer, near the Outback Bar. View the Show Map to guide you further.

Can I bring dogs to the Show?

Unfortunately as much as we would love to see your dogs, no dogs are permitted at the Show.

This does not apply to assistance dogs, assistance dogs are permitted.

Is there somewhere I can store heavy, bulky items that I've purchased continue enjoying my day at the show?

Yes! you can drop off your goodies at Parcel Pick Up for free!

 

What is Parcel Pick Up?

Parcel Pick Up (PPU) is a dedicated place to store your heavy, bulky items that you've purchased and continue enjoying your day at the show. Storing your goods at Parcel Pick Up is free! You’ll have the option to pick up your goods on the way out or drive around to our Grand Parade collection point and pop your items straight in the car.

All of your items must be collected same day, strictly no overnight storage. PPU closes 15 minutes after Show close.

Located on the corner of Shoalhaven Street and Grand Parade, Parcel Pick Up (PPU).

Ticketing

Do you offer refunds?

Cancellations, Variations Transfers and Refunds

Before finalising your Ticket purchase you should review the dates and location of the Event or component or activity of the Event and ensure they suit your personal circumstances. Subject to any statutory rights you may have to cancel and receive a refund (including your rights under Consumer Laws) there is no general right to cancel and receive a refund, if the Event or other activity of the Event takes place.

No refunds or exchanges will be made for any online Ticket sales except as required by the Consumer Laws.

Tickets purchased maybe transferred for that time to another person by contacting the Ticket seller and maybe subject to an administration fee. No changes can be made to Ticket times booked.

We may cancel the Event or a component or activity of the Event due to unforeseen reasons. In such case, the Event or a component or activity of the Event may be rescheduled. If the Event or a component or activity of the Event to which the Ticket relates is cancelled, you have a right to obtain a refund of a legitimately purchased Ticket but may need to apply for a refund or otherwise follow our reasonable refund process. We may charge a reasonable fee in the event of a refund.

We may also postpone or change the Event dates or duration or the hours during which the Event is open or change the Venue or location. We may also cancel, withdraw, postpone or re-schedule or otherwise vary any components or activities, including displays, keynote speakers, session presenters, timetables or programs or any other aspect of the Event for unforeseen reasons. We do not represent that there will be space for you to observe any particular displays or activities at the Event.

Subject to your rights under this clause or unless required by law, we do not accept any liability for Loss or inconvenience caused by such cancellations or changes.

Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium and or through auction or similar websites or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (such as trade promotions or to enhance the demand of or for other goods or services) without our consent. Tickets that are sold or otherwise dealt with in breach of this condition may be cancelled without a refund and the person may be refused admission.

Can I buy a ticket at the gate?

No cash sales will be accepted at the gate.

We recommend pre-purchasing your ticket to avoid queues.

Are Child tickets free?  

Free Child tickets will be available for children under 16 years old, but each child over 12 months of age must be registered.
Anyone that is 16 and over must have a paid General Admission ticket to attend. 

Do you offer a free ticket for companion card holders?

Yes, we offer a free companion ticket alongside the purchase of a general admission ticket. We kindly ask that the companion card is brought along to the event and both visitors will need to be registered to comply with contact tracing regulations.
